Beat of the Week app for iPhone and iPad

Beat of the Week is changing the game.

We at Beat of the Week believe in a world where musicians of all kinds deserve to have their dreams come true. We believe that every artist deserves a chance to get their voice heard, and that music is the universal language that brings people together.

We are a weekly music video competition for hip hop and R&B artists and producers, and we give out $1200 in prizes to our artists each week!

Here’s how it works:

- Producers from around the globe submit their beats to us. Each week one beat is chosen to be the Beat of the Week. The beat changes every Thursday night at 9PM PST.

- Using our Record feature on the app, hundreds of artists record their verses to the current Beat of the Week and upload their videos. (Post as many as you’d like, and watch your video rise to the top of our Leaderboards!)

- The videos with the most votes at the end of the week earn cash prizes:
1st Place in Pro League wins $500 (decided by popular vote)
2nd Place in Pro League wins $150 (decided by popular vote)
Our Artist Pick prize wins $50 and is selected by our Artist Panel.
If you win 1st Place in the Pro League, you move to the All Star League, where you get another chance to win $500 for 1st Place!

Artists from our platform also have the opportunity to participate in professional grade content like Cyphers, Showcases, and our documentary series, where we come to YOUR hometown so you can show the world what it’s been missing!
